Hi mummy's and daddy's,
Recently I have become really interested in being an amateur birthing photography as a hobby with a small about $$ (no more then 200 a session for full birth start to finish - don't mind how long it takes :)...) just wondering how I would go about creating this adventure and if it's something mums would be interested in?

I think Id start by doing some friends births for free and asking if you can use some carefully selected pics to promote your business.
I'm actually looking into this as we speak. I want someone there to capture this moment for us. I'd be more than happy for you to contact me via Facebook and discuss this with me. I'm not due until september tho.
I would research birth photographers to find out what exactly is involved in this process as I think there is more involved than just turning up and taking photos during the birth of a baby. Karen Day in Mackay operates Mackay Birth Photography, look her up on Facebook and contact her. I am sure she would be happy to help guide you in the right direction as this genre of photography is something she is very passionate about and she is a lovely lady. Good Luck.
