All day sickness in early pregnancy

Hi ladies I am nearly 9 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and for just under a month I have felt nauseous all day everyday. I know that it is common and although I felt sick with my first 2 pregnancies it was nothing like this. I'm not actually vomiting but feel like I am going to all day, like I am hung over. It's really starting to get to me and I'm struggling to function properly especially because I have to act normal because people don't know I'm pregnant yet. I have a doctors appointment in a week but would love to hear some remedies that people have found work. Thanks xx

My sister in law used to eat icy poles with one baby and kept a small snack box on hand with another. He had it full of carrots and celery.
My doc used to tell me to have small snacks as the nausea "usually" happens on an empty stomach. I also found that taking pregnancy vitamins helped - not that I really had much morning sickness - it helped me feel better anyway. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes better :-)

urgh...... I'm hearing you....... I had all day sickness for 40 weeks 3 times...... ick...... You need to get yourself some icy pole makers, those ones from woolworths, and make up some lemonade icy poles. Or you can buy the zooper doopers,. Also crackers are good too, even potato chips (because sometimes just the mere thought of a dry cracker was enough to set me off). I used to carry them around in a container everywhere I went. Ginger tablets are also good but be warned if you vomit them up they are VILE! Maxalon is pretty good (a prescription drug from the gp). It is worse early pregnancy but I did have it towards the end as well. Peppermint tea and lemon and ginger tea are pretty good too. Good to smell as well as drink.

I was exactly the same with my 3rd
I found pretzel sticks helped alot because they were relatively dry

Good luck!

Im currently at just under 22 weekswith my second. II've been reaaaally sick this time and have been put on magic pills!
I tried to hold out til 3 months as that's when I felt better with the first pregnancy but it just kept getting worse and worse!
Ask your dr/mw about ondansetron and vitamin B6.
Seriously a life saver! Without it I am throwing up non stop all day- with it no nausea at all!
Its the widest anti nausea medication used over the world :-)

Have also reposted on the facebook site and hope it helps! Can I also suggest that any drastic remedies that are recommended needed to be checked with the doctor first too! Thanks x

Flat lemonade, sea sickness bands and hydrolite icy poles only worked for me. You can buy the bands at chemists for around $20. They work with the pressure points on your wrists. Life savers! Remember to keep up your liquids, that's where the hydrolite came in handy. Good luck
