Alice Springs To Move or To Not Move

Hi my husband and i are considering moving to Alice Springs for his work, we have a couple of kids with special needs one with Autism - but in mainstream schooling, one with pretty big health issues which we see a lot of specialist for at a major hospital, our child is doing really well and health wise seems to be ok at the moment, does anyone live there or has, and how did they find schooling and health system?
