after advice

Hi IM's
I have panic attacks and a little depression I stay home all day with the kids, I haven't got my license and I live out of town, I stay home weeks at a time, I get nervous everytime I have to leave the property or go in a car with someone else, I dream of having a my own car and just go for a long drive with the kids, but panic crushes it everytime. I'm currently doing a course that I keep questioning myself all the time like what happens if I'm not good enough? What happens if I have a panic attack? What happens if no one likes me? They are silly questions that stop me from doing what I have a passion for. I have no friends and no one that really understands or wants to listen to me, I have tried therapy and medications but nothing worked and I felt much better not taking medication, I have controled it once before but everything came back, so I'm on here asking for advice.

It teaches you to challenge your fears and thoughts. It is hard work, you have to do your homework. Take notes on how you feel, fill in forms at the start, but once you get the idea you can do it in your head. Your GP can refer you to someone who uses CBT. But if you don't do the homework it wont work.

Hello Anonymous! Kelly here form the Imperect Mum team!

I can see you have posted 2 questions of similar nature - not sure if that was a mistake or not, but i have posted your first one for you and hope the responses on the other question helps!

Of course, I really encourage you to keep on coming back with other questions if you need - but just didn't want to repeat this question again when it was so similar to the other one :-)

Hope the responses help!!
