Hi mums.

My husband and i would love to start the legal process of my husband legally adopting my 5 yo daughter. We live in Nsw, daughter was born in Victoria

Bio father lives in Victoria.

Bio father hasn't seen daughter since before she was walking and she is now 5, he never wanted her, and has often asked when my husband plans on adopting my daughter. Mainly I guess because he doesn't want to pay child support, not that I get much or rely on it.

My daughter calls my husband daddy and my husband is an amazing father to her, we seem like a normal happy family and we are welcoming a second into our lives early next year. My husband works very hard to provide for us and does what any other devoted and loving father would do and shares all responsibility of raising her.

We are quite tight on funds (lawyers fees ect..) and my ex would not object to signing over his rights so what would be the correct, cheapest and easiest way to go about adoption?
