Adjusting to a new life style, help I'm bored!

Recently our family has moved to a small mining town (500ppl max) I'm so bored being home 90% of the time. My son has play group and a few other activities but there's nothing for me. It's a very sports orientated town and I don't have any sports bone in me and I'm also 6 months pregnant. There's only so much organsing and cleaning a person can do as I like to keep busy and there's only so much toddler/baby talk I can handle. My hubby leave home at 5am and isn't home til 6:30pm so it's usually just me and my 2 year old most of the time Any ideas what I can do?

I totally understand! I left full time work to care for a sick family member who sleeps 90% of the time. I have to be here in case or wait for a carer to go out.
I've really gotten into gardening the last few months. I also did some online courses just because I could and have done some self directed learning.
If your at all craft minded it might be time to get a project.
I've also improved my cooking skills, done some reading (which I used to love). Some days are harder than others but over all I'm really enjoying my new life and couldn't imagine going back to being busy!
There might be a CWA around and even look into some volunteer work you can do from home.

I so understand how your feeling right now! We moved to a small town last year and I still havent made 1 single friend! Not to mention its so football orientated that when the Seconds won a granny this year they literally referred to themselves as heros and are still expecting the royal treatment...I have been so bored at home with my chikdren while my husband works. There is no childcare here and it sucks as I would love to return to work.
My advise, take up a hobby. Get passionate about something!
If your into craft there is a lot you could get into and if you really like it you could start your own little business.
There is wooden beaded jewelry
Homemade soaps
Homemade baby bibs, blankets etc..
Crochet stuff
Design your own cute plush toys.

Otherwise you could write, create works of art, get into cooking and sell your baked goods at a local market if your town has one.

If they have any local events on, get involved. Even offering to do canteen at sports events.

Its so hard because u feel isolated and I wish you all the best! X
