Accessing Super Early

I am wanting to access some of my super under financial hardship. One of the conditions is that you need to be recieving income support payments from Centrelink continuously for 6 months- I am wondering if anyone knows if Family tax benefit is classed as an income support payment?

Thanks

No it's not. It would need to be new start, parenting payment, disability pension etc.

And also accessing it is classed as income. So if you get 10k, you then have to say you earnt 10k more, which may see you paying back centrelink for your parenting payment out of your super. This happened to a friend. It was taxed and she then owed centrelink money so ended up with 4k out of the 10.
