9 months, doesnt use legs.

Hi IMs. My youngest is 9 months and she has only just started sitting by herself... amd is still wobbly. She doesnt get into the sitting position by herself either, I have to put her there and position her legs. She also only roles one way ( front to back) and when holding/ supporting her she puts no weight on her legs in a standing position. Her legs are tucked up like a newborns unless shes having tummy time. She never gets up on her knees or even tries and when we put her in that position she just cries and then moves.
Hips were fine at birth. But I have a feeling that there is something wrong. Hubby thinks im paranoid. Her right foot turns outwards aswell.
Any thoughts? I am booking into dr to get looked at im just nervous.

I think by going to the dr your doing the right thing. It may well be nothing and then you can stop worrying and if it did turn out to be something she needed help for you won't be kicking yourself for ignoring your concerns. Good luck

Just to add there is a really wide age bracket for how kids develop motor skills. For example my son was walking at 1 but most of his peers seemed to be still working on developing crawling! I remember wishing he'd stop walking because he was always get in trouble and other people's babies seemed so easy because they barely moved! Lol

Definitely see your Dr for peace of mind. Itsounds like mother's intuition rather than over reaction. Being nervous is a normal reaction but not getting it checked out while shes little could be worse. Well done on listening to your gut. It just may be nothing.
