Hi,
I'm a bit desperate atm I have a 9 month old little girl who is exclusively breast fed but my milk is running very very low ! I've tried different kinds of formula every bottle invented and teat and the most she will drink is 100ml ( have been trying since atleast 3 months ) at most and that is if she will even take it !! I can't express as it just doesn't work for me .. She is also baby led weaning as won't eat any purées etc and even then barely eats enough for me to be comfortable with just "food" all this being said though she is still a good happy healthy weight but just at a loss of what to do next any tips or advise would be great Tia x

The australian breast feeding association may be able to help. They don't just advise on breast feeding. Also talk to your GP they might be able to help. Also speech pathologists also work on feeding and swallowing issues so it's worth ruling that out too. You've been trying long enough on your own x
Have you tried Karicare Goats milk formula, I tried nearly every formula and is the only one my daughter took they say its the closest tasting to breast milk, it does take awhile to them to get a liking to it just like anything new but be persistent she will surprise you and just take it, try and only give it to her when she's really tired and hungry so she's not really "aware" and I found the tommee tippee closer to nature great for breast n bottle feeding good luck
Have you had her mouth checked for upper lip tie and tongue tie? Often these can cause your milk supply to dwindle, can make it uncomfortable to suck from a bottle, and can make babies dislike certain textures of solids... You can join a group on fb for tongue ties babies and there are doctors on there that can tell u if she has it when you send photos.
Call the breastfeeding hotline (they have all kinds of baby info). My son prefers to drink out of a cup or sippy cup but would take a Medella bottle for his morning feed if I wasn't around. Have you also tried getting someone else to give him the bottle? I wouldn't stress about the amount of food/milk if bub is happy, healthy, pooing and weeing. Like some big people little people can be little eaters too.
