8 year old girl looking up "sex videos"

My DD just turned 8 and i had parental controls activated on my mac, but i'd never had a reason to be concerned and totally forgot about her iPod! Yes i know careless working single mother. And nothing you can say will make me feel worse than i already do.
I didn't want to loose communication regarding sex/ bodies and alike. So i just said honey i know what you have searched and that i knew it was about sex. She was embarrassed, I asked her what she thought about what she had seen and she said it was "weird" I said yes and those people are actors and thats not how most women would act that have respect for their bodies, i explained I've tightened security on the computer and her iPod (which I'm open to suggestions there) as I've confiscated it til i find the right program and i haven't told her its been confiscated. So my girls are only one years apart and i have been separated 4 years, I've always instilled safe body practise only cause I'm not there and my ex hub is a little complacent and i don't know all of the company he keeps. We had recently done "where do i come from" and talked about periods as i was 9 when i menstuated. Have i given them too much info and prompted such behaviour or is it normal?
Im still lost and would love to hear from other IMs that perhaps have suggestions
