My son has just turned four and for his birthday he got a puppy and has started acting like a dog, going on all fours, begging etc. He does it everywhere we go. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how long did it last.

My lil girl came home from day care acting like a cat . It became quite embarrassing and unhygienic but therr was nothing I could do. It lasted about 2-3 weeks. However she can go back into it from time to time
My nephew went through a puppy phase, it was very cute. Took him maybe a year to finish with it completely.
All my kids have done this at one stage or another from time to time, never lasts long don't worry. If u have a runner or think that you may need a harness be warned, I had one for my daughter while shopping at Christmas time (shops were really busy and it was more a fear of letting go of her hand and losing her in the crowd) a lady told me how beautiful she was and she started barking, I started cracking up laughing and never used the harness on her again.
My son acts like a rodeo bull and bucks on his hands and knees all day everyday. He doesn't stop.
