Please help me
I feel like I'm loosing my mind over this! My 3yr old will NOT sleep in her bed anymore. She just flat out refused for the last three weeks. It's been a struggle to get her to stay in bed, she will cry and scream(at the top of her lungs) we go up there calm her down etc etc. it results in her putting herself into my bed and it's either a case of move her and then she wakes and it all starts again or give in.
We have talked to her and asked her what's wrong and she will say she is scared of monsters. Tried the whole monster spray, night light, sitting with her till she falls asleep. Which works for maybe an hour or two then it's back to screaming and crying and not going ba k into her room.
I'm fed up it goes on for hours sometimes!
We have an 18month old who she wakes up constantly with her screaming.
Please help with suggestions as I'm lost and sleep deprived and feel like packing a bag and running away! :(

Go speak to your GP he can suggest an over the counter medication that will help her get a few full nights sleep. It might be enough to get everyone a few good nights sleep so you can stand firmer with her or it may break the habit totally.
Usually perseverance is the winner in the long term. You could put a single mattress in her floor so you can lie on the floor next to her for a few nights, it will mean you can resettle her before she has a chance to ramp up. Then gradually move the mattress further away from her bed.
