Perimenopause

Perimenopause

Does anyone else feel like this??
Life was pretty good until I turned 47 recently. Guess I going through Perimenopause,(doctors tell me, because I have the marina they can't tell me if I'm really going through it).
Basically told me to take some tablets and come back and see them in three months time.
I have lost all motivation, struggling to get through my three days at work. I don't go out anymore as I don't like being around people. I have isolated myself from my friends. It's also a struggle just to go and do the weekly shopping.

I find everything too hard. Also going out, work, general life. I'm buying a new(er) car & having to sell my old one, and am struggling with the process. Also had many panic attacks over the holiday to Japan we took earlier this year (until we got there). And the weight gain despite eating well!!

In my case, it's also because I have a useless DH, so have to manage everything myself, but, yeah, I feel it.

I used to jump in & get things done, fly anywhere, do anything, now I struggle to do it all. I'm so unmotivated. Almost depressed, tbh.

So I hear you. I really, really, do.

Mine was caused by the Mirena. It is not recommended for anyone with a history of depression or anxiety. Some doctors are across it and will ask the right questions and refuse to give it to women with a history. Others do not. Do not rule it out as contributing.
