My uncle has been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer that has spread to multiple parts on the bones and lymph nodes. He has started hormone therapy. I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and how long there loved ones lasted pls? I’m so worried.

I'm sorry to see you are going through this. You should ask his treating specialist or someone in his care team though. They will be able to answer you in a much more meaningful way as they know comorbid conditions, general health outside of the cancer and also the timeframe for when it advanced to stage 4, as that will influence how long he may be with you for. In addition, they can also explain the support that will be given to your grandfather whilst answering this question. You will feel more supported by getting this information from his care team.
Thank you I will I just don’t want to ask while he is there. He is already stage 4 but I might see if I can call them and ask what they think about the time line.
