Are you illegal to contact some ones psych, to let them know what's happening. Not to ask questions but to voice concerns?
My BIL has some mental health issues and is currently unstable. Paranoid and delusional right now. His current target is my partner and I am in fear of his safty. He's already managed to get my partner alone 2hrs away as he was bogged in the bush. Although nothing happened he was jittery. At that time we hadn't noticed any real changes as hed kept his distance. hes now voiced his hatred to my other BIL about wanting my partner dead. About how perfect our lives are and that DP is rubbing it in his face. He also believes his neighbours are breaking into his home, and moving things about.
I don't want to ask questions, just want to inform his psych he's unwell ans I fear for my DP safty. Police did a welfare check which just made him more paranoid that ppl are stalking him. Police won't do a paych hold until he does somthing. But his psych can.

My FIL is unstable
Over the years I have rung beyond blue
I also but an alert though DV hotline
Set up protections for his wife
Been doing this for 20 years. His new wife is only about 5 years married to him maybe 7 years together.
She isn’t strong enough to deal with him
After a meltdown of his she let slip I had a watch and act on him
He flipped it at me, he thinks it’s recent.
Beyond Blue are awesome with great tools

The best thing to do is email them with your concerns, that way you have proof in writing, assuming you have their contact details. It’s unlikely a clinician will speak to you directly unless you book and pay for a appointment. You will not get any information or be provided with any feedback in relation to your concerns. In case of emergency 000 or your local CAT team will be able to offer support / help
