Hi sisterhood, this is a hard one for me but currently seeing a counsellor but I have the worst mum guilt and it is affecting how I discipline my children ( I don't discipline them ) and I also spoil them due to my mum guilt.. I guess I'm just asking for advice not sure on my question but suggestions on how to change.i have mum guilt because I stayed with my ex for 8 years through jail,drugs and domestic violence.. I have never been charged or been in trouble with the police,never used drugs so why did I stay with a man son long and put my kids through that ? I feel like the worst mum is the world and have so much guilt 😔 now I'm trying to fix it all and don't know where to start.

You feel guilty because you picked what you wanted over what was best for your kids for many years.
How to make things better?
STAY SINGLE and focus on them, show them they are your priority.
Get them a psychologist they can talk to.
Create a safe, peaceful, happy home for your kids, don't bring strangers into that for a long time.
Be the mother they deserve.
