We both snore. Granted im worse but not by much.
Every night I get nudged, poked, shoved. He's even blocked my nose. He gets mad at me for it. It's not like he's not used to sleeping in noisy places. He's not disrupted but the highway, the trains or fire station. Sleeps through it. But how dare i snore.
Because I snore, I understand his snoring can't be helped. I simply sleep through it. Iv never harrased him in his sleep. If he dose get a bit lound, I'm nice about it, asking him to role over.
He demands I sleep with my snore guard in. It does help, but it hurts my jaw and my gums get sore. Apparently that's be snoring on purpose.
No i don't have SA.

In fairness, I can sleep through almost literally anything but snoring.
I’ve slept through parties, loud action movies, hoons doing burnouts, storms you name it. You can’t just choose to sleep through something that’s disruptive enough to wake you…
Solution - Sleep separately. My partner and I do, saved both our sanity.
My husband was a bit like you. But, I can't sleep next to a chainsaw. He really didn't see the issue until he recorded it - to prove me wrong, apparently. He finally got a CPAP & we sleep in separate rooms. Bliss
Snoring must be one of those frequencies that is disruptive & it's right in your ear. Some of us can't just sleep through it. Night time can be, well, a nightmare when you are woken several times.
sleep separately, very easy fix.
I poke my husband and push him onto his side when he snores too lol. Thankfully he doesn't snore often. If he did and wouldn't wear a device to help it I'd be at my wit's end though. It is a choice. Either consider the sleep health of your partner or sleep in a room on your own. If the snore guard is unreasonable for you, another room sounds like a great option.
About 15 years ago I got an acupuncture ring for snoring I think at a chemist for my partner you wear it on your pinky. He wore it for several months and it completely stopped his snoring even for a good 6 months after he stopped wearing it. His snoring no longer bothers me so he only wears it when staying at other people’s houses or motels etc
You both need to have a sleep study by the sounds. So many conditions such as stroke and heart attack linked to untreated sleep apnoea.
