Down about work

Feeling down. I finally found a job I love last year. But sadly, mosaic brands have gone bust, and I lose my job in less then a month.
This job has been so freeing. After years,of working in a place of brown nosers, I found myself working with a bunch of lovely woman who all pulled their weight. We work in sink, and there is never any drama. And the best part is, if I couldn't get a sitter, I could take my kids to work if needed. Some times our kids would all play together in the office. Or I could hand my kids some $$ to visit other shops in the centre, keeping them close by. I'm not gonna be able to find that again.

Look, I get it. I had a fabulous job for many years. Made redundant, and since I need school hours I am now stuck in a very restrictive job, earning half what I was previously.

My solution is to keep looking. There ARE other jobs. It might take a while to find one, but just looking reminds me I have choices. If you need to, do some more study to be attractive to these employers.

I'm surprised you could take your kids to a retail store. Its likely the manager who allowed it & a new one could have changed that. It's often all about the manager you have!
