Meca root and lack of sex drive

I'm a 40yo mum with bipolar. My medications have completely killed my sex drive. I haven't enjoyed sex for well over a year. I couldn't climax during sex, let alone myself. I was getting depressed and my marriage was suffering. I come close to tapering off my meds. Weighing up the pros and cons. These meds are the first to keep me completely stable. But was losing my sex drive worth my sanity?

It was suggested to me on a bipolar support page. That I try meca root. It boosts sex drive. Iv been taking it for about a month. Today, was the first day in over a year, I climaxed during sex. I could cry. It sounds stupid, but until you have suffered it, this is a big deal.
