My 16 year old daughter wants to go on holidays to Thailand with her friend and her friends family. I don’t want to say no as I’d like my daughter to experience life but I’m also that petrified to let her go I feel like I’m having a breakdown. Can anyone who has experienced similar please give me advice on your personal experience?

For me, it would be a big nope. I couldn't entrust my child to anyone but myself in a country like that. I know bad things can happen anywhere. But it's just too risky
