I have a shark and love it!
Dyson, hands down.
Dyson are crap. Good proper vacuum but terrible stick vacuum. Mine (both) are now in hubby's workshop and I bought an LG for the house. Sooo much better. Hubby doesn't really use the Dyson's either but we just didn't want to chuck them in the bin so they're backup if ever needed
I borrowed my daughter’s LG Cord Zero and it is absolute garbage. I have a shark vacuum and recommend shark brand to everyone. My son said my shark is better than his Dyson.
