Hi families-
I’m just curious how everyone spends the Easter break?
Growing up - as kids we had this big family, giant Easter hunt etc - lots of cousins and a huge get together -
But …
As it stands .. I’m the only one who has children, a tough childhood has seen us quite estranged from family so we live a good 8 hours from family.. and it’s probably for the best…
But I just don’t know what to do- we often go camping the kids my partner and I with the dog - but I always feel a sense of lonely and it’s an absolute nightmare getting a spot if your the last out at Easter - we do enjoy solitude and not camping on top of each other…
So I’m just curious how does everyone spend Easter ? My kids are 14,8 and 4

Every year is different for us. There's always an egg hunt. Always. Regardless of where we are, we make that happen because it's magic and the kids love it!
We tend to spend our special holidays with people we want to rather than those we feel obligated to spend time with. We've built a family from our friends and go camping with them a lot or have people over to join in our egg hunts etc.
