My daughter is 8.5 and I'm wondering if chores are appropriate for her. She doesn't do anything around the house at the moment
I work full time and have 100% custody of her.
I also have two large dogs to take care of, walking, taking care of their big coats etc.
What chores should I be getting her to do, what is appropriate?

My 9yo does the lawn mowing, weeding, sorting clothes and loading/unloading dishwasher. He’s expected to keep his room semi-tidy and put his dirty clothes in the laundry.
He’s also expected to do homework (I help him with this). In return he gets to play his PlayStation after allll the regular jobs are done.
Do a google search for age appropriate chores. There are many lists floating about with chores for children starting at 2 or 3years old. By 8 mine were setting and clearing the table, helping to cook meals, emptying the bins, putting the washing on, vacuuming, mopping.
Everything? Just ask them to help you when you do things.
