I have that age girl at the moment

She hasn’t been left by herself yet but…..we have 2 kids 14 months apart, so the two of them have been left together until about 9.30pm on a few occasions
We live on a rural property
She thinks our house is haunted, so she wont stay at night alone (she is probably correct)

Lots of factors
Whats the area like
How mature is she
Turn the isolation switch off the oven

Yes, old enough but obviously you take other things into consideration as well like her ability to contact someone if she needs to, danger perception, not off the rails etc.

I have once in a blue moon while I popped to the servo/corner store for something urgent, so 10 minutes or less.
From after school or all day even, probably not. I feel like that's too long!

I'm also mindful that my neighbour is quite mentally ill and he's prone to having psychotic outbreaks in the street when the sun goes down, so my daughter would feel quite unsafe and frightened being alone at night with that sort of thing going on.

If she’s ok with it, yes
