I have just recently had surgery for a ectopic pregnancy and they had to remove one of my tubes. I am currently going through the emotions as my partner and I have been trying for a baby since last year then for this to happen.
I’m extremely anxious that it will happen again. I was wanting to see if anyone has any positive stories after loosing a tube from an ectopic pregnancy of getting pregnant.

This happened to my SIL, they decided to go down the IVF road and now have had a baby boy. I don't know the ins and outs of their story but I know they had struggled before the ectopic pregnancy with other miscarriages so I think that was the decider.
After struggling to fall pregnant, my first pregnancy was an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in the loss of that tube. The risk of another pregnancy being ectopic if the tube was left would have been much higher.
Following on, my other tube rolled up her sleeves and stepped up to the plate. 3 pregnancies later, one of which was a miscarriage, 2 beautiful kids.
Big hugs to you because it is such an emotional roller coaster ride but hang tight, the female body is an amazing thing.
As long as you have your ovaries and uterus there’s hope for a baby! Talk to your Dr and depending on your age start thinking about ivf. Good luck xx
The anxiety never goes. I had three children post and demanded early scans for each of them. But, on the very positive news, I had 3 healthy beautiful kids. #1 in an IVF break, #2 on a chlomid break and #3 naturally. Good luck x
