This is what happened with my eldest. Get a referral from your GP to an endocrinology clinic or go see an endocrinologist privately. They will need to get some tests and organised and keep and eye out on this.
6 is so young. Agree with other comment on here. Get a referral and request full bloods from your gp.
I'd def speak to a gp, have all hormones and thyroid checked. I was early but not that early. I was 9 when I got my period.
