Hi all, I work with the sweetest man (this is not what you think π) and it makes me sad he doesn't have someone. I always mess around and tell him I'm putting him on tinder and he gets all embarrassed and says no.
A few days ago we were talking relationships again and he did say while not wanting anything romantic it would be nice to have a female friend in his life. This got me thinking are there any apps or dating sites for singles over 50 to meet other people wanting the same thing? Would love to drop a few names to him and hope he may have the courage to look into more.
Hoping someone can help me play friendship cupid

I would find out what his interests are. For example there is a group on facebook for people who love going camping but have noone to go with. If he is into books, get him into a book club etc. Shared interests is a great way to meet someone ;)
Just a tip, if someone in the workplace is embarrassed over the personal things you're saying, it means their uncomfortable and it's your cue to zip it.
I might get hammered for this, but I think you should stay professional and not make this coworker's love life your pet project, it may get messy, boundaries blurred (if you have a partner). I know this situation all too well.
By getting this personal, he may be getting the wrong idea and if you're taken, he might be trying to tell you he wants you to be his friend outside of work.
Yesss to thisβ¦β¦ this is definitely crossing the line. I would be very concerned if this person is partnered themselves.
Maybe don't play cupid...it's inappropriate imo and could get you reported or even fired. I would just leave it. It's up to him to do the work to find female friends, Not yours.
