Crypto Addiction / Gambling help

Hi
I am becoming a mess, a shell of myself. I have fallen in love with someone who is addicted to crypto trading and their phone. I have never seen anything like this and it's caught me off guard as I don't understand it.
It wasn't like this at the start and has increasingly escalated and come out.
It's starting to greatly effect our relationship and now I am on antidepressants.
I guess I want to hear more from those who have been with gamblers as this is all so new for me and I am suffering from tension headaches.
He has started name calling me and I am so exhausted I can't think straight.

You’re on antidepressants to survive a relationship? He’s verbally abusive and an addict? You know the answer. Love is not enough. You have to look after yourself, no one else will, definitely not him. And I highly doubt this has just started, more chance he hid it until you were roped in deep enough, then he slowly stopped bothering with the charade.

The only way to survive is to leave him.

You can’t stop him, you can’t save him. He will only change when he wants to change and you staying allows him to tell himself that it isn’t that bad.

Addiction is addiction, wether it’s drugs, alcohol etc. and they will abuse you to continue there addiction. He is abusing you now, definitely verbally, most likely emotionally and financially.

You need to protect yourself and set a clear boundary. You staying won’t save him.

Is he really worth making yourself sick over. You need to get rid of him. I’d say at the start he covered his addiction. This won’t get better and will affect you for the rest of your life and potentially make you get in huge debt for him. Don’t do it. Step away and enjoy your life without the stress.

Oh dear you are valuing him more than your own well bein and mental health. No no no! Please leave and be free of his gambling problems. He’s calling you names for god sake get out. Don’t accept this behaviour. It will also get worse. Put an stop to it now and leave.
