Have any mummas on here tired saxenda and is it worth the money.? Does it work as good as ozempic.? The cost is huge, so before I fill my script, would love to know it you think it’s worth it.

I tried it for 6 months and didn't lose any weight.
The side effects were awful and it did nothing, total waste of money for me
I have lost 17kgs on Saxenda. However the initial side affects were fatigue and nausea.
I have plateaued though and can’t seem to loose anymore…
Ta I will give it a go. Hate the thought of paying that much if it doesn’t do anything. Happy to hear you had a 17kg loss. Well done. I’d be happy with that or even 10

I tried Saxenda before Ozempic, did nothing for me.
I’ve lost 30kgs in 12 months on Saxenda, I don’t take the highest dose so it was about 1/2 the cost that was initially quoted.
It doesn’t work for everyone but neither does Ozempic.
Personally no I don’t think it’s as good. I was on ozempic and lost 20kg over 6 months, maintained it for 6 months on my own and have recently started sax. I’ve been on it 2 months and lost 4kg Now I know a loss is a loss but for the cost I expected the same. Maybe my expectations are unrealistic I don’t know. But I will be switching to Wegovy once it’s in Australia. Personally it just worked better but you can only try.
