Have you been in the same situation? Separated and I am in the process of finalising things. Trying to get property an children. orders written, the ex claims he wants to be amicable but has had the papers for months and hasn’t done anything. I feel he is controlling the situation and I can’t do anything about it.
I will converse with the legal team however have you been in the same situation. What happened. I assume we do mediation next then court if it has to come to that… hopefully not.

I was in the same situation, initially my ex said we will work through everything. But when it came time to sort everything out he refused completely ignored attempts by myself and lawyers.
I ended up going to court who ordered mediation.
We then resolved everything in mediation.
I probably tried for too long with the lawyer before going to court.
Get your lawyer to write to arrange mediation, if he refuses, is difficult or doesn’t respond get the certificate from the mediator and go straight to court.
How much did all this cost, I am not elegible for legal aid and he earns so much more than me. He is rather manipulative and controlling now that I have stepped out of the relationship it’s very obvious.
