My son who just come into my care, (I'm dad) has no borth certificate. I applied online, and it seems, he was never registered at borth. Iv tried several spelling of his name, incase I have them wrong, but still nothing. (I was not around at birth as she hid due to drug abuse) BDM, in Australia say I need to register his birth, but on trying it was info I don't have, like birth weight, time of birth.. info found in the blue book witch I don't have ether. I don't know how to go around this.. Iv contacted the hospital he was born at but waiting for a reply

Are children's services involved? They should be able to help you with this! What a tricky situation. How old is your son?
They are no longer involved. They dropped the case as soon as court was over.
I would reconnect with the case worker that you had during this time and ask that they support you into getting either the information needed or the birth registered. I’m generally surprised that during the court process they never did this as they usually need the birth certificate for any court matters related to children anyway.
Good luck on your journey forward with your son and I hope you both get the support needed to work though this time ❤️
So glad he is safe with you now. Good job Dad. The hospital will have it recorded. Give them time to respond or give them a call on Monday and follow it up. I wish you both the very best 💙
How do you even know? This is just one side. But yes, he just needs to register the birth .
Does he have a Medicare card? Would have been registered if he has one. Try going into them and seeing if he’s on there system.
