I started using a product called permatan about a fortnight ago. It’s a nasal spray that encourages your body to tan. I’ve followed all the directions, I have noticed all of a sudden a very dark black mole on my face. Beside my lip. I’ve stopped using this product and realise it was stupid in the first place. When I initially ordered the product it says that it does not cause or darken skin spots and is 100 percent safe. I now have this dark mole and it’s making me really self conscious. I looked at photos from 3 weeks ago and it wasn’t there… how can something develop so quickly. I sent the company an email about it but haven’t heard anything back. Not sure what to do from here. Please no nasty comments I know it was stupid. Is there anything I can do about the mole

I'm so glad to hear you've ceased using the product! It sounds unsafe at worst and gimmicky at best, your ability to tan comes down to your skins pigmentation and genetics.
It makes me angry that companies get away with selling stuff like this!
As for the mole, please go get it checked by a skin specialist. That's a very short period of time for such a dramatic change in your skin and this new mole popping up may be entirely coincidental to using the nasal spray. They'd also be the best person to give you advice for reducing the moles appearance or removal 🙂
At the very least get the mole checked by a GP.
Just read up on this product. Scary stuff! I’m glad OP has stopped taking it.
I just googled it also, 10 seconds into my search I ran across a pretty alarming list of side effects reported by consumers (darkening of moles included).
OP 100% needs medical advice here.
Please get this checked. Skin cancers can grow this quickly and the melanoma type are deadly. Quite possibly the growth is completely unrelated to your use of the nasal spray, so please don't be embarrassed to see a Dr.
This was on the news thismirning. Its dangerous.
