I’m wanting to book a very last minute and spontaneous holiday to the snow here in Australia hopefully for next month but what is the best areas to visit/stay with children. Preferably with the most snow and scenery. We’ve never been to the snow so any tips are a bonus too.

The Australian snow season usually runs from june-august, so definitely check before you spend alot of money and it's mostly melted (it's still absolutely beautiful there any time of the year)
The place to go is the Snowy mountains, and there are many ski resorts there, the most popular being Perisher and Thredbo. Or you could stay in one of the towns and drive up to the peaks.
By September it might be a bit too warm, but it has been a cold winter so you never know
