Would you buy?

Hi mums. Just wondering how people feel on buying a worn once bra. I bought one and didn't wear it for awhile and when I did I realised it doesn't fit properly but it's past being able to return. Now this is an $85AUD bra in a larger size so not cheap or easy to come by. I'm thinking as I only wore it once for like 3 hours I may try selling it for like $40 which is a bargain for what it is but obviously being worn once I can't resell it nearer to full price.
How would you feel buying it and is it weird?

I wouldn't buy a used bra but some do

If it was legit worn one short time I would sell it as brand new condition but tried on/washed once.
Personally I don’t think it’s the same as undies, it’s just on skin, someone will want a discounted ‘new’ bra, they’re expensive.

Sell it on ebay then you don't get idiots posting on it. I don't think there's a problem with it, I wouldn't buy a well worn bra but one that's basically brand new, why not. Every bra we buy from the shelf could have had someone else's boobies in it so who cares. People sell swimmers and pants etc all the time, nobody knows what's gone on in them lol. But to save any embarrassment if someone wants to express their disgust I would put it on ebay.

As someone who has had financial insecurities absolutely I would but I know some silly immature people who have never gone without will be all "ohhh yuk" like you use a washing machine it's fine 🙄. I would advertise as "tried on" because people are spoilt and ridiculous.

I have before, it was listed as $95 on a web site, and I purchased for $20. I wouldn’t pay anymore because I don’t have the budget for that. It was tried on/worn once. Very good basically new condition.
If you want more for it; if suggest return it. Many stores allow returns as long as it was only tried on…

I don't think it's weird in the slightest but just based off my experience in trying to sell things online, I personally wouldn't waste my time trying unless I really needed the $40.

I have actually donated very slightly worn and good condition but too small for me bras (amongst other things) to my local women's shelters. They have always been very grateful because they're things that don't get donated often but are obviously very needed.
It makes me feel better about my impulse purchases too because it's actually ended up helping someone rather than being a plain waste.

In saying all that, I also used to work in an intimates store and we had a very broad returns policy. So unless it's been years or that particular bra has been discontinued, the store you bought it from would probably be willing to allow you to exchange it for something more suitable or even see if they have that bra in another size so it fits you properly.

I don't have a problem with it and have bought bras from Op shops when I couldn't afford new ones. Give them a wash and they're fine. However I probably wouldn't buy one off fb marketplace as I don't want to know who previously owned it (silly I know) so maybe ebay?
