What would cause my tonsil to swell overnight and now it's fine again?
My throat was sore all day at work yesterday and was struggling to swallow.
No other symptoms at all.
Now I'm fine again with occasionally troubles swallowing. Nothing like yesterday however.
I'm heading to the Dr soon but never have experienced this before.

Was it tonsils or your glands ?
It’s not uncommon for localised swelling it’s apart of an immune system response, you could be fighting the start of an infection or the tonsils may have produced bacterial stones or something you ate, walked past or smelt may have triggered a reaction.
