Should I become a guidance counsellor?

Hi everyone. I'm a teacher in qld thinking of either quitting my job or staying but doing extra study to become a school guidance counsellor. But I want to know ... what are some of the things that school guidance counsellors do each day at your school? Typical hrs of work? Job prospects? Pros and cons to the position? Thanks.
