Advice please

Good evening, looking for some advice, I haven’t worked in over 14 years and looking to get back into the work force, the shit thing is we live in an extremely small town, we only have a servo, my husband does seasonal work between 2 different companies, the closest town to us is an hour away. I just don’t know if it’s worth it but I was thinking for my own mental health it would be a good idea. Where do I start ? Is day care expensive ? Most of my kids are in school only one at home but also pregnant with another. Just looking for some options ideas thoughts thanks

If you weren't pregnant I would say an hour drive for work is pretty common now, I travel that and I know others that are even longer. But since you're pregnant you're probably best to get something local to you. Why not start an odd jobs business cleaning, walking dogs, babysitting. See if you can get your kitchen registered and then you can sell meals or baked goods.

If you are also responsible for running the household, all the kids and getting them to and from school, then no, there’s no way you could work an hour away. I am all for independence, but you would run yourself into the ground with school kids and under school age kids.
