Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder help

I have pre menstrual dysphoric disorder. I am so sick of it. Today is a day I am right in the thick of it. I am already taking SSRI but I am wondering if anyone else has used birth control and seen some improvement? I am looking for recommendations on birth control. I’ve spoken with doctors and they have given me many different ones which have not helped. Thanks

Have you tried skipping the sugar pills? Obviously not great but I'm curious to know if you would still get pmdd symptoms.

Have you looked into natural or pharmaceutical anxiolytics (drug class of anti-anxiety meds) for pmdd?

Diet and exercise is also something else to consider and possibly cbt xxx

The pill made me 1000x worse. Join some PMDD support groups on Facebook. There are lots of natural things that help. Not a lot but they certainly help. It sucks and it's horrible and I absolutely understand where you're at.

I had a lot of success with the deppo injection for it after trying every pill under the sun and a failed iud. My doctor also prescribed a very low dose of seroquel which helped to combat some of the inaccurate perceptions/hyper anxiety/misunderstandings. It also took awhile to get the right SSRI and right dose. It’s a horrible thing to have, be kind to yourself
