So next year when my youngest starts Prep I will have 2 days where I have nothing on during the week. I work school hours 3 days per week in an accounts receivable and payable position for a family business. There is not enough work for me to take up the extra two days. I am wondering about the possibility of what I may be able to on my two days off. I’m not really interested in going and finding another job working for someone else, rather possibly looking into opportunities I could create for myself.. I’ve considered doing a lash course or also doing an accounting diploma and offering freelance bookkeeping however I’m undecided. Does anyone else have any suggestions or ideas? I’m definitely not into any form of MLM type of things. Thanks in advance!

I would go with the accounting diploma so you have that behind you if you would like to look for full time employment in the future.
I would enjoy the two days off. School days pass very quickly when you’re free. If they are really your only time off, just enjoy them, do some cleaning, cooking, get your nails done get appointments done, go to your kids assembly’s and sports days.
Then when your ready step up to full time. Make the move if you’re ready, it’ll be a good thing.
I don’t see any point in studying and putting all that money time and effort into possibly seeing a few clients in your very limited spare time. It’ll cost you more than you make.
I used to be a single mum for years working full time. Now I've got a wonderful partner and he earns more than enough for the two of us so I've taken a break from work for a month. I've gotten so much done and it's been amazing! Enjoy the 2 days off. Go get your hair done, see a movie, read a book, enjoy yourself for a while first!
