At this time of year my money would be on Cairns. Plenty to do with the kids and if you drive or hire a car there's lots to go and explore in every direction.
Google maps and have a good look at interesting area’s. You can find some real hidden gems. Then google the area see whats on offer.
Big 4 adventure resort in Airlie beach then to hideaway bay! Beautiful!!! 👌🏻
