Sore legs

Hey all!!
Quick run down.
Thought I had shin splints from sport, now I'm thinking it's muscle/knots in calves.
As far as I'm aware I'm doing all the right thing, I'm correctly fitted for work and sport shoes, stretching, magnesium suppliment l, magnesium spray, nurofen gel, heat rub (not at the same time lol) as well as compression!!
Is there anything else I should be doing that could help?
We're only a few games into the season!!

See your GP and get a referral to a physio. It won’t hurt to confirm what you are doing is what you should be doing. And they’d be able to give the best advice on anything else you can try.

No need for a referral for a physio. You can just make an appointment.

I didn’t know that! My son sees his physios at the children’s hospital and gets referred by his doctors, when needed. I just assumed it would also be needed to be seen privately.

No. You can get an enhanced primary care plan via your GP which gives you 5 Medicare rebated sessions a year. But that has some criteria you have to meet.
But other than that you can book without a referral. 😊
