Not sure what to do?

Not sure what to do?

I often get up and I am a bit dizzy, I always figured I must have low blood pressure.
I’ve started working from home and today I went to the bathroom and I was really dizzy and then my legs suddenly started making involuntary jerking movements. I was so scared of falling over, but I was just too dizzy to get on the ground. It lasted quite a while, i just leaned against the door and my muscles are still sore now. I’m really tired and have a bit of a headache. I’m also doing my grad studies and had an assignment due last night, so that was pretty stressful, plus the new job is too. I’ve also had quite blurry vision lately. So anyway, I made an appointment for the gp, I can’t get in until Monday.
Do you think this is anything to be concerned about?
I was a little worried picking my son up from school today, in case it happened whilst I was driving but I generally only get dizzy when standing and the movements started when I was really dizzy.
I know people aren’t doctors but any thought?
I really don’t want to go to ER, I’m always at the hospital for appointments for my son and I hate the place.
Thanks for your help.

You need your eyes and ears checked, #1.
I suffer vertigo, which sounds exactly like your symptoms. I can get an attack from looking at the computer for so long. There are exercises that can help, but there's no cure and no reason for sudden onset. I take sea sickness tabs when I get an attack.

Yes but does it cause this with your legs also? I have had vertigo but never this happen with my legs.

Yes, if I try to walk. It's like my legs are trying to compensate for it without me telling them to. I also walk sideways by accident and crash into everything. I lose all spacial recognition.

This could be a sign of MS your Dr will rule things out but you need to get checked ASAP. It is probably nothing but it’s scary and serious things need to be ruled out first.

I would go to the hosp if I was you, if it happens again.

Please make sure you get this checked out. This happened to my friend who had a brain aneurysm and ended up being found on the floor in the bathroom. Lucky he survived with emergency surgery.

I’m not saying it’s that but it could be many things, so you need to get anything urgent excluded. While it’s probably something less serious, always presume it’s serious when it comes to the brain and heart.Get it checked asap and Don’t dismiss anything, that you don’t often get second chances with. Not trying to panic you but make you aware.

This really sounds like Multiple Sclerosis. Please keep us updated once you get checked. Make your sure tell them about the muscles and the pain afterwards. Don't let Drs fob you off with medication. Make sure you get a thorough check.

A relative of mine is diabetic, blurred vision, dizzy spells and muscle fatigue were their initial symptoms that they thought nothing of and ignored until they collapsed and woke up in hospital!

You really shouldn't be behind the wheel until you get to the bottom of what's causing these episodes and you really do need to go to the ER if you have another episode before your doctors appointment.

Hospitals suck but ending up really sick because you were too stubborn to go would suck more!

I would go to hospital to get checked out and not wait. Especially if it's something that can be managed e.g. Diabetes. It would be better to know now rather than have a really bad experience at home and get carted off in front of your child ((Hugs))
