Omicron

What were your covid symptoms? I did a RAT just before Mothers Day and it was a strong positive. I’m waiting and bracing for symptoms but other than having low energy, there’s really nothing else. It’s only day 3 but should I be expecting worsening symptoms to come? You wouldn’t even know I have it. I’m really confused. How can I have covid but not be unwell? I haven’t needed any meds , not even Panadol. Calm before the storm maybe? Please tell me your symptoms so I know what normally occurs so I can look out for them. I’m 51.

It's different for everyone.

I was crook as a dog for about a week and covid positive from the very start of my symptoms.
My daughter had a slight sniffle and that was it.

In my family of five, the range of symptoms and severity was interesting. I had one kid with zero symptoms who was bouncing off the walls the whole time and another with vomiting and diarrheoa and high temps. I was just exhausted and runny nose. My husband coughed and slept for almost 3 days straight. My other child just had a headache and was tired.

Everyone is different. I was perfectly fine until day 5 and then I got very sick. My dad had cold symptoms early and was recovered by day 6. I still get exhausted easily and it’s been 8 weeks.

Same thing has just happened to me.
I work in aged care and my facility tests us every 3 days, I went into work Monday morning and tested positive twice on rat tests, I then had a PCR done that also came back positive. I had no symptoms at all, not even a sniffle.
I'm day 3 of covid today and have a minor headache and am feeling a little bit run down. I also have a respiratory condition so have been waiting for it to hit me bad but so far I feel pretty good.
