Affording Uni

Hey mums!
Is anyone able to explain uni fees or this Hecs debt or Vet something people talk about???
I've finished a diploma and can go to Uni but I don't know how I'll pay for it so any advice would be great!
It's for nursing in NSW if that's helps at all? I've been told the government is getting rid of Hecs debts if you nurse in a rural area?
Thanks all!

HECS is an interest free loan program that is offered to all Australians. The government pays the uni for your degree and you pay it back via the tax system when you finish your degree and gain employment. You can pay it off as slow or as quick as you like. Very few people can afford to pay for their degree upfront. If the rural healthcare program is rolled out then your HECS debt will be cancelled and you will be debt free.

Just make your the course you enrol in is a hecs/help eligible course. They usually list it in the course information.
