Hey all, for the last week my 7 month old has been waking up crying during the night every hour, sometimes half hour it isnt always for his dummy coz he will lay there crying with his dummy in his mouth... and most of the time when he is asleep he'll lay there tossing and turning.. just wondering if any other mums have been through this? And if so what they done about it. Sleep deprivation is real at this point 😩

Could he be teething? It may be irritating him during the night. If not he may have some wind when he lays down. Does he have a bottle at bed time? I had to change the tests back to new born for my daughter because she was getting too much air and causing her the wind. It’s so hard with babies, so many things it could be. Eliminate it one by one. I would also suggest leaving him up a bit later and a nice warm bath right before bed time. But I really think it’s teeth. Try some Panadol and teething gel before before and see if that helps, he sounds like he is irritated in his sleep. if not then try and get some wind out.
I'd say teething. My kids started getting their top teeth at that age and those ones are sharp and hurty!
I'd also head to the doctors to check for an ear infection, being unsettled and sleepless was about the only symptom my kids showed when they had ear infections, as an ear infection sufferer myself, they tend to feel worse when you lay down.
Could be teething.
If he's arching his back a lot it could be colic. 1ml of gripe water at it may settle him. If you've tried panadol and not gripe water, I'd lean more towards colic/tummy pain.
I'm always amazed at how quick gripe water saves my son's sleep
