Pain during sex

Hi Ladies,

Just looking for some suggestions, opinions or experiences. I am booked in to see the doctor next week.

I have been with my partner for many years. For the last week or so, sex has been painful, more so in certain positions. It's like he is hitting something in there and it is an excruciating stabbing pain that makes me flinch and jump back.

A prolapse has been mentioned by a close family member. I have no other extraordinary feeling down there otherwise, other than a throbbing achey pain after the painful sex and random aches for a day or so after. I had a pap smear 2 months ago.

Thank you

It could very well be a prolapse of positions affect the pain. I have a low cervix and it's incredibly painful at times. I suggest, be on top, or, put a pillow under your hips on your back. Laying side by side, him behind you, will also help with pain

Could be early prolapse, fibroids, endo, adeno, changes in cervix and vagina due to hormonal or age related changes. Best to get a thorough check up with your gyno.
