My 16 year old daughter has a sweating issue. She pools sweat under her armpits. We have tried all the different deodorants that are meant to reduce sweating. Have heard “dryclor” is good, but it’s not available in Australia. She has trialled medication which has not made much difference. She is petite, and even in winter can only wear singlet shirts, which she still sweats through. Has anyone had any luck in stopping this problem? She has been like this since she was 12, it’s been 4 years and it’s extremely embarrassing for her

I’d say it’s hormonal. Have you had her hormone levels tested? Ask your Dr to look into this further.
Sounds like hyperhidrosis. Botox injections in the arm pitts fix this temporarily. The cost is around $500.
Thank you to all that have replied! I have purchased “no more sweat” from Chemist Warehouse, both the overnight spray and the day deodorant. The overnight one left my daughter feeling uncomfortably itchy and red, though the day deodorant has completely stopped the sweating. She has endured 4 years of embarrassing sweatiness, and is now dry! I am so grateful for your advice, you guys are life changing! Much love to all!
