Fashion disaster.

Does anyone just like... not know how to female? 🙈😅. I was a Tom boy for most of my childhood, and it’s not that I want to be girly now.. but I have no idea how to be casual without looking homeless. I hate my body so I wear oversized T’s with leggings and thongs and my hair that is thick down to my hips just up in a Mum bun, never had my eyebrows done they’re just fluffy little blonde caterpillars. I so badly want to find my own style that’s low maintenance. Every time I buy something that I think looks nice I’ll never end up wearing it because it makes me feel so uncomfortable. How do you overcome this kind of ‘fashion rut’?

Shoes. Get into sneakers, or boots.

Little changes. Jeggings and boots or sandals. Jeans, kmart ones are thinner denim so better when it's still too warm for thick ones. There's some pretty oversized tops that aren't tees.

Maybe start with a haircut/trim plus an eyebrow shape and tint. I always feel 100 times more put together when my hair and brows are feeling fresh.

I personally like clothing that works for both comfort and style, so I pretty much live in leggings, oversized knitwear or tees and sneakers. I feel like you've just got to put a bit of effort into styling items that you feel good in!

Eg: Tie loose tees at the side and layer a couple of different length necklaces - cute!
Add a denim jacket or a light weight chambray denim shirt over the top and roll the sleeves - they literally never go out of style.
Grab some denim look leggings and cuff them at the bottom to show a bit of ankle.
Pull some pieces of hair out of the mum bun to frame your face and try a headband or hair scarf.
Trade the thongs for a pair of birkenstocks (or cheap knock off's lol), that gives you the comfort level of a thong but a tad less casual.

Get a haircut! A noce fresh cut will make you feel so much better. And ditch living in thongs. Get some white sneakers. You can wear them with everything!
Jeggings, shorts, flowy skirts...Oversized tshirts dont have to be scummy. Just jeans has a sale on at the moment. They jave really nice comfy jogger style jeans.

I'm terrible with fashion so I jump on websites that you can just buy the whole outfit from. I choose things that aren't too far out of my comfort zone, practical and comfortable and I just buy the whole outfit the model is wearing, i also do the same in store..I just look at what they have on the mannequins and go with that! At least that way I know I match and am wearing somewhat fashionable clothes!

You could start by doing some activities to get in touch with your feminine energy. Dancing, art, gardening, yoga, moving your body, massage, tantra, meditations, being in nature or by the ocean. Then book into a salon for a fresh colour and cut, brow shape lash tint brow tint, facial. Then when you are feeling lush, go shopping and look for fabrics and colors that make you feel gorgeous, Dresses, skirts, shoes, accessories that catch your eye.
