Hey everyone
Fiancè and I are looking at getting married in Bali later this year
Was wondering if anyone has done this themselves, what the experience was like and also reccomendations on wedding planners/packages etc.
Would love to hear any feedback

I would look into the conditions of travel, they aren't as straight forward as they once were and travel insurance will be high to cover covid hospital admission
FYI there was a news article today about Bali clamping down on international visitors and requiring 5 days quarrantine in a gov approved facility.
Seems too unpredictable for me. I'd look at the great barrier Reef or something if I were you.
I’m sure this would have been a lovely idea pre Covid however perhaps look at their quarantine laws before planning anything.
No one has done it since Covid started so I think any information you get about weddings before then will be incorrect.
Bali just announced they're opening, but with a negative test and 5 days quarantine on arrival in a hotel of their choice. It's a huge risk and you'll need to research and accept that it could go pear shaped & you or your guests could be in quarantine instead of getting married. Please check travel insurance as well. Most won't include Covid.
If determined, see if you can find some FB pages/groups about Bali travel/weddings or expat pages. You'll get much better information to make an informed decision.
If not, there are plenty of gorgeous destinations right here in Australia.
I would go Aussie wedding, Bali honeymoon. Taking your nearest and dearest overseas is a big risk, the more of you that go the more chance someone will end up stuck in quarantine too long, or in hospital which is costly and risky. Keep them all on home soil, save the honeymoon for Bali that way it doesn't matter if you get stuck in the hotel for the whole trip, you still get to relax in style
