Birth control

Birth control

Hi Mums!!
Looking for advice on birth control please!
Yes I have an appointment with my doctor to discuss.
I can't take the pill but my doctor suggested the marina.
I'm 34 and finished having kids. I've been loving being on no birth control but I think I need to be safer.
I'm worried about weight gain and would love to know if the mirena helped with anyone that has hormonal migranes
Any advice would be great :)

I have the mirena. It's taken really a whole year for my body to settle with it. But now I don't have any painful periods, light bleeding for a few days and I can go about my life normally
One thing I did notice was that I have had thrush a few times, and eczema down stairs which never really happened before.
I haven't had any weight gain either.

The mirena was an absolute nightmare for me! I read warnings from other women and was told by a nurse to ignore them. I ended up in hospital because I lost my vision and they sent me off for an MRI to look for a blood clot or brain tumour. They concluded it was a massive migraine. The ambulance officer (bless him) told me to get rid of it! It is also not recommended for anyone who is susceptible to depression or anxiety either and some doctors are not telling women this!!!!!! and instead putting them on antidepressants as well. I will never again put this crap in my body as it has taken so long to recover.
